Check the device/devices supported by JDM: Japanese Drift Master, and see if yours is.

 

Gamepads

The list of recommended gamepads sorted by manufacturer.
If your gamepad is not listed, don’t worry, it should work, but Steam Input may be required to work correctly. 

Steam should recommend it to you by default, but if not, here is a guide on how to enable it yourself:
1. Right-click JDM: Japanese Drift Master in your Steam library and select “Properties”.

2. Under “Controller,” you can choose to “Enable Steam Input.”
