Modding Guidelines for JDM: Japanese Drift Master

 

Thank you for playing JDM: Japanese Drift Master.


We’re thrilled to see the creativity and passion our players bring to the game, especially when it comes to modding. While we respect the desire to customize and expand the gameplay experience, we want to clarify our official stance on modification (mod) creation, use, and distribution.

For reasons of maintaining the stability and fairness of the game, as well as to avoid legal risks, we cannot officially approve the creation and distribution of Mods.

 

1. Our Policy on Mods

1.1. Personal Use Only

We allow players to create and use mods strictly for personal use. We support your creativity as long as it doesn’t negatively impact other players or the game itself.

1.2. No Official Endorsement

Please note that mods are not officially supported. We do not verify, test, or approve third-party modifications. All use of mods is at your own risk.

 

2. Modding Rules and Restrictions

2.1. Respect Intellectual Property
  • • Do not use copyrighted materials (e.g., from other games, movies, anime) without proper authorization.
  • • Do not include trademarks or brand logos in your mods, such as real-world sports teams, fashion labels, or companies.
  • • Mods must not imply any association with real brands or third-party IPs unless you have obtained written permission.
2.2. No Inappropriate Content

Do not create mods that contain:

  • • Discriminatory or hateful content,
  • • Excessive violence or gore,
  • • Obscene or sexually explicit material.
2.3. Do Not Redistribute Our Game Assets
  • • Extracting, modifying, or sharing any part of the game’s original content (models, textures, audio, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
  • • All game assets are the property of Gaming Factory.

 

3. No Commercial Use

  • • Mods must be free of charge. Selling mods, charging for access, or profiting from mods in any way is strictly forbidden.
  • • This includes requesting donations in exchange for mod content.

 

4. Promotion Restrictions

We do not allow the promotion or advertisement of mods on our official social media channels or Discord server. Posts or discussions that include links to mods, mod showcases, or requests for feedback on mods will be removed by moderators. Repeat violations may result in temporary or permanent bans from our community spaces.

 

5. Disclaimer and Risks

  • • Mods may cause game instability, crashes, or data loss.
  • • We are not responsible for any issues that arise from using mods.
  • • If problems occur, we recommend removing all mods and contacting our official support team.

 

6. Infringements and Consequences

  • • If a mod infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other laws, its creators may face legal action.
  • • Use or distribution of illegal mods may result in account suspension or restriction.

 

7. Our Commitment to Players

Our main goal is to make JDM: Japanese Drift Master an enjoyable experience for everyone.
 While we ask players to be cautious when using mods, we are continuously working on expanding and improving the game through official updates and new features.
