Mechanical Tuning
Want to make your old machine into a racing beast?
You’re in the right place!
In the mechanical tuning in the tuner shop, you can swap a multitude of parts to increase your car’s performance.
At the beginning, you only have the basic upgrades unlocked. As your player reputation progresses, you’ll unlock more powerful parts to put inside your cars.
Every car has different reputation thresholds for the parts.
Every car is described by a series of stats that you can improve by purchasing new parts.
Main upgrade categories:
– ENGINE – modify your ECU, Air Intake, Exhaust, Internals, and Boost.
These parts mostly influence your Power, Torque, Acceleration, and Max Speed.
– SUSPENSION – change Springs & Shock Absorbers, Sway Bars, and Control Arms.
Changes made here will influence your riding height and handling of your car.
– STEERING SYSTEM – choose between Stock, Street Angle Kit, and Professional Angle Kit.
Steering system settings decide how sharp, fast, and stable your car feels while drifting.
– POWERTRAIN – modify your Clutch & Flywheel, Gearbox, Differential, and perform Drivetrain Conversion (only available in some of the cars).
Parts in here affect your ability to enter drift (Clutch), the predictability of your drift (Differential), and how power is delivered across speed ranges (more in the Car Setup)
– BRAKES – change your Brakes.
Affects braking distances.
– TIRES – change your tires.
Changes your car’s acceleration and traction on different types of surfaces.
– NITRO – Implement the NOS system in your car.
Grant the option to use nitro, better NOS systems grant longer and stronger boosts.
