Known Issues

We are fully aware that JDM: Japanese Drift Master is not yet completely free from issues and problems, but rest assured that our team is constantly working on further fixes and improvements based on your feedback. While we value all incoming reports and feedback, our immediate focus will be on resolving the Known Issues outlined below. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated!

Known Issues:

1. Traffic AI Improvements
• Traffic AI drivers are yet to receive numerous improvements, including new AI models, balance changes, better decision-making, and different behaviors depending on their current location (e.g., cities, rural areas, or crossroads).

2. Event AI Improvements
• We recognize that AI opponents in events currently do not perform as realistically or effectively as intended. Given that events are a central feature of JDM: Japanese Drift Master, we are committed to enhancing their behavior and racing abilities to boost both immersion and player enjoyment. More info on this coming soon!

3. General Event Improvements
• Underground, sushi delivery, and drag events still face a few issues that are on our radar. Fixes are coming soon.

4. Win/Loss Condition Improvements in Events
• The game can sometimes end an event prematurely if the player cuts corners too sharply or strays too far from the track.

5. Lighting Fixes and Improvements
• We are working on improving the saturation of the in-game color palette.

6. GPS Improvements
• The GPS occasionally fails to select the most efficient routes.

7. Force Feedback Improvements
• In future updates, we will improve the feel of the Force Feedback system.

8. Game Resolution Settings Improvements
• Multi-monitor PC setups may experience issues with game resolution.

9. UX and UI Improvements
• We are not yet satisfied with some of the current UX and UI designs and are actively reworking them (e.g., navigation in the paint shop).

10. Destructible Object Improvements
• We plan to add more destructible objects to the game; however, this is a delicate process that can impact overall performance. We are prioritizing performance while addressing this.

11. Missing Wheel Presets
• Some steering wheels may currently lack dedicated control presets. If your wheel is not recognized or missing a predefined setup, you may need to configure it manually for now. We’re actively working on expanding support and will continue adding presets for more devices in upcoming updates.
