Drift
That’s what most of you are here for!
Rack up as many drift points as possible and be on the finish line within the time limit.
In the Drift events, you compete against 1-5 opponents, and end the run scoring more points than them to win! Style, angle, speed – it all counts.
Scoring
The score is calculated based on two components:
- Base
Drift points are awarded while the car is in a controlled slide. The base value is determined by Speed and Drift angle
- Multiplier
The base is multiplied by a multiplier, which increases the longer the car is kept in a drift. The longer the drift is maintained, the higher the multiplier grows.
Scoring Finalization
If the player stops drifting for over 3 seconds, the base score is multiplied by the current multiplier, and the result is added to the total score. Both the base and multiplier reset after scoring.
Collisions and Spins
If the player crashes into a solid obstacle (e.g., barrier, building, tree, or AI car) during the drift (or before the score is finalized), the gathered points will be counted, but without applying the multiplier. The same applies if the player loses control of the car and performs a spin.
Bonus Points
The system also rewards the player with additional points for performing special achievements/tricks. These bonuses are added each time the conditions are met and can be earned multiple times during a single run. They are added to the base score before applying the multiplier, and have fixed values based on the achievement:
– High Speed Drift – Drifting at speeds over 140 km/h: 550 pts
– Good Angle – Maintaining a drift angle between 30-45 degrees for at least 1 second: 100pts
– Great Angle – Maintaining a drift angle between 46-65 degrees for at least 1 second: 200pts
– Extreme Angle – Maintaining a drift angle between 66-90 degrees for at least 1 second: 400pts
– Long Drift – Maintaining a single drift for more than 5 seconds: 250pts
– Extreme long Drift – Maintaining a single drift for more than 10 seconds: 500pkt
– Infinite Drift – Maintaining a single drift for more than 15 seconds: 1000pts
