Choosing a Driving Model (arcade vs simcade)
At the beginning of the game, you’ll be asked to select the driving model. Each is designed to appeal to a different kind of player.
If you feel like the option you choose isn’t right for you, don’t worry; you can change the driving model anytime.
Visit the game menu, select the Assist & Driving section, and head to the Driving model at the bottom of the menu.
Arcade
The Arcade setup is a gameplay style designed for players who prioritize fun and easy-to-learn controls over maximum realism in vehicle handling. After selecting this mode, you will have your ABS, ESP, Drift Assist, and Brake Assist enabled.
In this mode, you’ll find it much easier to initiate and maintain drift, however, it can prove harder to keep the car in line during the grip events.
Simcade
The Simcade setup is a gameplay style designed for players who prefer more realism in vehicle handling. After selecting this mode, you will have your ABS on, and your ESP, Drift Assist, and Brake Assist disabled.
It will be harder to initiate and maintain drift, however, it can prove easier to keep the car in line during the grip events.
