Additional Camera Settings

After selecting the camera view, you can tweak your view further by interacting with additional camera settings. These can be found in gameplay settings under CAMERA.

These are the settings you can adjust here:

    • • FOV in cockpit view – expand or decrease the angular extent of the observable world seen at any given moment, while the camera is set in the Cockpit view.
Higher FOV allows you to see more of the surroundings, while a lower FOV provides a more focused view.

  • • Drivers Head Movement – simulation of the driver’s head turning or moving in response to car dynamics or player input. It’s part of the game’s immersion system that helps replicate the feeling of being behind the wheel of a drift car.
The driver’s view subtly shifts left or right as the car turns or drifts,
mimicking how a real driver would instinctively look into the corner or where they’re going.

0.00 – no head movement 1.00 – maximised head movement

  • • Camera Type – Camera modes that are tuned to fit the exact type of event (drift, grip, drag) or an open-world roam.
Drift and Open World Dynamic Cameras will lean more in the direction of the turn the player takes, being influenced by the drift angle, speed, and steering input.
Grip and Drag Dynamic Cameras will follow the direction of the turn only a little, providing the “stiff” feel ideal for the tight grip turns.

The game will automatically adjust the camera type for the event; however, if you change it, you’ll use the chosen camera type regardless of the event type.

  • • External cameras field of view – expand or decrease the angular extent of the observable world seen at any given moment, while the camera is set in the Hood, Roof, Bumper, or Side Molding view.
Higher FOV allows you to see more of the surroundings, while a lower FOV provides a more focused view.

  • • Chase cameras field of view – expand or decrease the angular extent of the observable world seen at any given moment, while the camera is set in the Close Chase or Distant Chase view.
Higher FOV allows you to see more of the surroundings, while a lower FOV provides a more focused view.

• Camera Shake – enables or disables the camera shake.
